Steve Moore began his career with a degree in Broadcast Communications in 1980. In 1983 as a morning show director & producer for a local NBC affiliate in eastern North Carolina, his responsibilities also included, commercial production, Studio camera and lighting, and sidelines camera operator and post production editor for ACC football. Excelling in his career, Steve later accepted a position with Midwest Communications Corporation, as Branch Manager for a new office location in Raleigh, NC.
Through his commitment to increasing sales and providing outstanding customer service and team management, Steve successfully grew his office into one of the top 5 branches of 36 offices nationwide for Midwest Corp. The office was created through Steve’s own lead generation and opportunities, producing a staff of eleven with sales and service revenue of over $10 million dollars through his tenure.
He expanded his knowledge over the next 18 years working with two prominent manufacturers as Regional Manager, responsible for 7 states in the southeast. Steve acquired multiple awards for outstanding sales management, performance and exceptional customer satisfaction through his career.
Steve joined Communication Specialists in 2003, bringing with him the same energy and drive that characterized his 25-year career in the broadcast communications industry.
In 2005, Steve was named General Manager of Communication Specialists Companies. He has infused his initiative in the sales and service team, who provide radio communications systems for public safety officers, first responders, 911 operations, utility organizations, public school systems, as well as many government sectors.
As the business climate has changed steadily in our industry over the years, Steve has continued to advance our product line and service capabilities, which have expanded our market vertically, to meet today’s technological advances.
With a surplus of business know how, Steve dominates sales and engineering management while also providing technical support, systems design, and project coordination. He is a key element in our team and important to our longstanding and future success.
