Cody Hotaling serves as the Radio Repair & Project Manager here at Communication Specialists, overseeing all aspects of portable & mobile radio and fire paging repairs, programming, and project coordination. In addition to managing the company’s repair operations, Cody is responsible for coordinating communications projects from planning through completion. His responsibilities include managing callbox installations and repairs, assisting with satellite alignment projects, conducting in-building coverage scans, and supporting vehicle and radio infrastructure system installations.
Cody joined Communication Specialists in 2023, bringing a diverse technical background that began in the IT industry, including experience in website hosting, networking for New York State systems, and engineering high-precision robotics. His broad technical knowledge and hands-on approach have made him a valuable asset to the company, particularly in supporting mission-critical communication systems for Police, Fire, and EMS agencies.
Originally from a small town in the Mohawk Valley of Upstate New York, Cody holds an Associate’s Degree in Network Systems Administration. He takes pride in helping ensure that first responders maintain reliable communication capabilities during emergencies and day-to-day operations alike.
